Who are we?
New Age Media is the largest multiplex advertising sales house in Central Europe. It was established in 2002 by a group of people who were united by their passion for cinema and marketing communications and for whom a cinema means as much an entertainment space as it means a vital advertising medium. New Age Media belongs to the Cinema City Capital Group.
Currently New Age Media is the undisputed market leader in cinema advertising in Central Europe. Through its offices in Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovakia and Hungary it coordinates advertising activities in the total of 100 Cinema City multiplex cinemas and in ten IMAX theaters. New Age Advertising’s offer in Hungary includes advertising time and space in 18 Cinema City and 1 Mi Mozink cinemas, including 4DX halls , IMAX , theatre and one ScreenX room, enabling “on-screen” communication via 170 screens.

History of NAM
1997
Cinema City being part of CineWorld Group, is the second largest exhibitor in Europe. The brand celebrates its 20th birthday on 18th of December 2017, as on that day in 1997 Cinema City Csepel opened its door being the first multiplex of the company in Central & Eastern Europe. Since then, several multiplexes has been inaugurated both in Budapest and in the country.

Through its offices in Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovakia and Hungary it coordinates advertising activities in the total of 99 Cinema City multiplex cinemas and in nine IMAX theaters.
2008
In 2008, Cinema City Aréna became the largest megaplex in the country (total 3.888 seats in 23 halls), providing the unique IMAX 3D experience. Under the same roof, the VIP section offers, with its leather armchairs and all-inclusive cinema experience (unlimited consumption of food and drinks) the possibility for a more intimate movie screening.
2009
In 2009 Cinema City Allee (13 halls) became the new pillar of the chain in Buda side.
2011
After the regional acquisition of Palace Cinemas Ltd., in 2011, multiplexes in the following Malls became also part of the chain: WestEnd, Campona, Duna Plaza, Kaposvár, Nyíregyháza, Mammut and MOM Park. The last two, since respectively 2016 and 2017 are not any more exhibited by Cinema City.
2013
In 2013, the company opens the first 4DX cinema in Europe at Cinema City WestEnd.
2014
Cinema City merged with Cineworld Grop plc.
2017
In January 2017 the second 4DX hall has been inaugurated for the pleasure of Cinema City Győr’s visitors.
2018
In March 2018 we opened our 3rd 4DX hall in Cinema City Debrecen!
2018
