"About My Father" is a story about preparations for a wedding, which will be called into question when the senior of the family wants to get to know the future daughter-in-law and her parents better during a weekend together. A simple-minded Italian immigrant with a southern temperament versus a family of conservative rich people who look down on everyone. What can go wrong? The main character of "All About My Old Man" is the father of Sebastian (played by Robert De Niro), a flesh and blood Italian. He doesn't beat around the bush, he doesn't follow conventions, he has a foul language and a very incorrigible sense of humor. When he finds out that his only son (Sebastian Maniscalco) is going to propose to his beloved Ellie (Leslie Bibb), he decides to help him in this risky mission, and above all to check if the girl's family meets his strict standards. Sebastian knows his simple-minded father's reunion with Ellie's wealthy and conservative family is in danger of disaster.
