Eleanor Morgenstein moves from Florida to New York to live with her daughter and grandson, hoping to connect with them. Instead, she feels increasingly lost and invisible. She stumbles upon a support group where she doesn't quite fit in. There, she shares a story that brings her the attention she didn't want. Eleanor suffers the consequences of her story when a young journalism student, Nina (Erin Kellyman), begins mentoring her. But when things go too far, Eleanor must confront the truth.
