Bernheim died in 2017 and this movie is a tribute to a late friend. When Emmanuèle stops work and picks up the phone, she doesn't know yet how much it will change in her life. It turns out that the woman's 85-year-old father is hospitalized after a serious stroke. The concerned character, however, hopes that this time the man will come out unscathed. He and his sister fall into a spiral of hospital life, spending most of the time at the bedside of a weakened André. This is a moment for Emmanuèle to look back at the past and analyze the complicated relationship with her father.
