Four years after the events of last year's Halloween Kills, Laurie lives with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and finishes writing her diary. Michael Myers has not been seen since then. Laurie, after letting Michael's specter determine her life for decades, set out to free herself from fear and rage and take control of her life. However, when a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell), is accused of killing the boy he cared for, it initiates a cascade of violence that will force Laurie to confront evil once and for all.
