The main character of the film is Maddie, a woman who currently has financial problems and may lose her family home. So, when he finds an intriguing but well-paying job offer, he decides to take a chance. A wealthy couple wants Maddie to go out with their shy and introverted 19-year-old son, Percy. They hope that thanks to her, the boy will come out of his shell and start enjoying life before he goes to college. On her assignment, Maddie discovers something surprising.
