Wojtyla. La investigacion
2 min reading

No one has been photographed, filmed or filmed as often as he has. Nobody has met over a billion people before ... Karol Wojtyła is probably the most public figure in history. Is it possible for the general consciousness to miss something that is behind his public image? José María Zavala, the director of the famous Mystery of Padre Pio, has personal reasons to confront the great figure of the Polish Pope this time. In 1981 - as we learn from the film - his father sacrificed his life for John Paul II ... Zavala approaches the life of Karol Wojtyła in a surprising and original way. Where all biographers finish their works - at the moment of the hero's death - he begins an even more interesting story.

He interrogates witnesses whose stories reveal the power of the Holy Pope's intercession: a man whose mother wanted to kill, a girl who was already "on the other side" or a would-be suicide woman who was prevented from jumping from a height by ... the hand of John Paul II. Whoever expects another classic biography of the Polish Pope will be disappointed. Whoever succumbs to the unconventional, mystical story of one of the greatest titans of the spirit will remain impressed for a long time.
