In the new circumstances, quarantine is ruthlessly enforced. Some have found a way to survive among the infected. One such group of survivors is located on a small island connected to the mainland by a huge causeway. When one of the group leaves the island and sets off on a journey into the dark heart of the land, they discover secrets and the terrible things that have happened.
