Tanjirō Kamado is a boy who, after his sister Nezuko was transformed into a demon, joined an organization dedicated to fighting these creatures—the Demon Slayer Squad. Growing in power and developing friendships with the members of the squad, Tanjirō faced numerous demons alongside his comrades Zen'itsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira. He also had the opportunity to fight alongside the Pillars, the Demon Slayer Squad's finest swordsmen: Kyōjurō Rengoku's Pillar of Flame in the Infinite Train; Tengen Uzui's Pillar of Sound in the Pleasure District; and Muichirō Tokitō's Pillar of Mist and Mitsuri Kanroji's Pillar of Love in the Armorers' Village. In preparation for the upcoming battle against demons, the members of the Demon Slayer Squad and the Pillars begin their group training, known as the "Pillar Training." Pillar training, Muzan Kibutsuji appears at the Ubuyashiki residence. Tanjiro and the Pillars rush to aid their squad leader, but are pulled into a mysterious abyss by Muzan Kibutsuji. This brings Tanjiro and the Demon Slayer Squad to the demon stronghold of Infinity Castle. This is where the final battle between the Slayer Squad and the demons will take place.
