Directed by Emmy Award winner Peter Hastings, the film follows a dog and a police officer who are injured on the job. A life-saving operation changes the course of history when Dog Man is born. Half dog, half man, "Dog Man" vows to protect and serve - if not distracted by the squirrels - as he doggedly pursues his arch-nemesis: the feline supervillain Petey.
