The film takes viewers back to the turn of the 1970s and 1980s, and its action takes place on both sides of the Iron Curtain at the same time. Hans (Gierszał) lives in the bustling Strasbourg, taking advantage of the opportunities offered by the West. He blends in with the local community while conducting espionage activities. Bitner (Schuchardt) lives with his family in Gdańsk and works in a shipyard. Seemingly, nothing connects the two men, but the past hides a secret that will force them to face their own weaknesses and passions. Both will face the question of their identity.
