Sonny Hayes, nicknamed "the greatest failure," was Formula 1's most promising driver and a phenomenon of the 1990s until a spectacular accident nearly ended his career. After 30 years, he finds himself a freelance driver with no fixed abode. Then, he's approached by his former teammate, Ruben Cervantes, now owner of a near-bankrupt F1 team.
