A true love story about an extraordinary love triangle, in which the French scientific couple Katia and Maurice Krafft and their beloved volcanoes appear. For a quarter of a century, they traveled together to all they could find on our planet, thus becoming the most famous and passionate volcanologists in the world. They also died together - during an eruption in Japan in 1991. Thanks to their passion, a huge archive of fascinating photos and videos was created. "Volcano of Love" narrated by Miranda July is a hypnotic analysis of life on the edge of a precipice, in the fumes of smoke and lava at a temperature of 1200 ° C. "Curiosity is stronger than fear," Katia once said. "Volcano of Love" won the Best Editing Award in an American Documentary Film at this year's Sundance Film Festival. The author of the original music is Nicolas Godin - half of the French Air duo.
