Life-loving Lea (Bérénice Bejo) works in a mall and is happily married to Marc (Vincent Cassel), a conservative and somewhat unbelieving salesman. Lea has long been considered a dreamer by her best friend Karine (Florence Foresti), who is satisfied with her managerial position in advertising and living with Francis (François Damiens) and their two children. However, something will break the peace of these four. One evening, during dinner, Lea unexpectedly announces that she will try her hand at being a writer. However, her husband is not entirely convinced of this idea. A sudden surge of creativity in Lea makes her friend Karine also decide to try her hand at writing, and her husband will rediscover his creative face. When one of the leading publishers takes an interest in Leah's book, she seems to have nothing but success. But will her friends and husband be able to handle it?
