For years, Arj has felt that real life lies elsewhere. He envies wealthy people like Jeff, who don't have to take low-paying jobs to make ends meet. Jeff lives in his hilltop villa, looking down on the world, but he can't appreciate what fate has bestowed upon him. Neither of them knows that the aspiring angel Gabriel has bold plans for them. In a burst of ambition and good intentions, he decides, without permission from "above," to arrange an unexpected exchange of places. Thanks to his supernatural intervention, Arj now lives in luxury, while Jeff is chasing a living. But the angel Gabriel also finds himself in real trouble. The heavenly authorities punish him for his self-will by stripping him of his wings and living as a mortal. He will be able to return to his angelic job if he convinces Arj and Jeff to voluntarily return to their former roles. Jeff agrees immediately, but Arj has no intention of giving up his new, wonderful life.
