Teenage Honey starts school at a new school. She fights to join the school band (she plays and sings the guitar), gain acceptance from her peers and be closer to the boy she has fallen in love with. Her family is in total chaos, and Honey tries to help everyone as best she can. When the girl suddenly discovers that her grandfather, whom she thought was dead, lives in a nursing home on the outskirts of town, she contacts him without telling her mother. Honey is a bittersweet story about growing up, responsibility and the path you have to take to fulfill your dreams.
