Chauncey is a seemingly ordinary teddy bear. Years ago, it was little Jessica's favorite toy. He felt loved and needed. Today, when adult Jessica returns to her family home with her daughter, Chauncey is waiting somewhere in the basement among the abandoned junk. Discovered by little Alice, he quickly becomes her favorite friend. Meanwhile, Jessica becomes increasingly concerned about her daughter's strange behavior. Alice claims that the teddy bear gives her tasks to prove the strength of her friendship. When the girl hurts herself painfully while doing one of them, Jessica decides to intervene. But Chauncey, who was abandoned by her years ago, did not wait so many years in hiding to give up revenge today.
