A film in a restored 4K version. "Inland Empire" is the last full-length film by David Lynch and the only one made in Poland (the film was shot in Łódź and Warsaw, among other places) with the participation of Polish filmmakers. It all started with the director's visit to the Camerimage festival in 2003, which resulted in the etude "The Green Room in Łódź", eventually expanded to a full-length film. On the screen, alongside Hollywood stars such as Laura Dern and Jeremy Irons, we will see Karolina Gruszka and Krzysztof Majchrzak, and on the soundtrack we will find compositions by Krzysztof Penderecki. "Inland Empire" is the story of actress Nikki Grace (Laura Dern in one of the best roles in her career), who after receiving a role in a new film finds herself in a world full of mystery, surrealism and unanswered questions, to which Lynch accustomed us in his earlier productions. According to Michał Oleszczyk (SpoilerMaster), "it's the densest of Lynch's labyrinths." Although the work was met with mixed reception right after its premiere, the passage of time has worked to its advantage.
