Three boys and one of them's father have been going on holiday together every year for over 15 years to shoot another horror film in extraordinary locations and mysterious places in Poland. Will their friendship survive until the end of the world? A dozen or so years ago, Maciej took his son and two of his friends on vacation, during which they shot a horror movie together. He wanted to distract boys from computers. He had no idea then that it would turn into one of the greatest adventures of his life and that together they would create not only a unique, but certainly one of a kind series of horror films titled "Candidates of Death". Today the boys are almost 30 years old. They have changed a lot, and each of them is looking for their own way. "Candidates of Death" is a record of their film adventures over several years. It is a film about themselves, about growing up, about questions, fears and dreams, and above all about the power of long-term friendship.
