"Kobieta Z..." is a story about Aniela Wesoły. She led an ordinary life - growing up in a small town, work, love, wedding, family. However, she could never fully be herself - Aniela was born in a male body. What choices will he make? Will she be ready to sacrifice everything to live normally and without fear? The story of her path to gender change is an inspiring, difficult and at the same time tender story about the fight for oneself, the difficulties of parenthood, complicated relationships with family and surroundings, but also about the beauty of true closeness. The world premiere of the film took place during the Venice International Film Festival (Main Competition), then it was presented at festivals in Busan, Thessaloniki, Sao Paolo, Goa and Gothenburg.
