Nadia is a teacher at a provincial school who sees the noble idea of European integration as a chance to improve her family's life. She persuades her husband and children to apply for the government program "Lessons of Tolerance," which is supposed to bring them tangible financial benefits. According to the assumptions of the entire project, an activist from the LGBTQ+ community is to live with them for a while. Individual family members react to Wasyl with great suspicion and distance, revealing deeply hidden homophobic tendencies. However, this does not discourage the man, because his main goal is to fight for acceptance and understanding of the minority he represents. Each subsequent day they spend together opens them up to each other and convinces them that defining others solely through the prism of sexual orientation is pointless. Wasyl's presence affects the dynamics of family relationships and revives feelings that the characters have clearly forgotten about long ago.
