The Mallard family has fallen into a bit of a routine. Dad Mack is content to live a slow life, with the family safe on a pond in New England. Mom, Pam's sense of adventure awakens and she wants to show her children - teenage son Dax and daughter Gwen - the rest of the world. When a migrating family of ducks shows up on their pond with exciting stories about faraway places, Pam convinces Mack to take a trip through New York to Jamaica.
