A group of teenage altar boys, frustrated by the indifference of adults and Church institutions toward social injustice, decide to implement their own, unconventional plan for moral renewal. Armed with youthful rebellion and their own interpretation of Scripture, they bug a confessional to better understand their neighbors. Masked like Zorro and with ambitions worthy of Robin Hood, they become judges in their neighborhood, helping those in need and meting out punishment for sins. However, their mission turns into a dangerous game, and the boys, applying their own idealistic code of honor, begin to walk the fine line between good and evil. Real life in the housing estate blends with a mission straight out of superhero comics, but instead of capes, the heroes wear surplices.
