The world-beloved blue hedgehog returns in the next installment of the adventure film "Sonic the Hedgehog 2". After settling in Green Hills, Sonic wants to prove he has what it takes to be a true hero. The test of his abilities comes quickly when Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey) returns, this time with a new ally, Knuckles. They both plan to get an emerald that has the power to destroy civilization. Sonic and his sidekick Tails set off on a journey to find the emerald before it falls into the wrong hands.
