The unfinished opera in three acts is the most impressive work of the Italian composer Giacomo Puccini. It is a fairy tale about a princess who cold-bloodedly orders the heads of subsequent husband candidates if they do not guess her three riddles. Directed by Franco Zeffirelli, the opera is a spectacular production featuring hundreds of artists led by soprano Anna Netrebko in the role of Turandot.
