Oscar nominee Ethan Hawke and Oscar winner Russell Crowe star in a tale of smuggling, the American Dream, and the fight for one’s family. This suspenseful and visually stunning film evokes the atmosphere of the series "Peaky Blinders" and the classic works of Clint Eastwood. Samuel Murphy (Ethan Hawke), a battle-hardened war veteran, loses the last thing that gives his life meaning—his beloved daughter. When the ruthless and cunning Clancy (Russell Crowe) crosses his path, Murphy sees a chance to get her back. He is soon drawn into a dangerous gold-smuggling operation across Oregon, and what begins as a seemingly simple plan quickly escalates into a tense game where everyone has their own agenda. To reclaim his daughter, Murphy must decide just how much he is willing to sacrifice.
