The final chapter of the untold story of the witches of Oz begins with Elphaba and Glinda at odds and living with the consequences of their decisions. Elphaba, now demonized as the Wicked Witch of the West, lives in exile, hidden in the forest of Oz, desperately trying to reveal the truth about the Wizard. Glinda, meanwhile, has become a symbol of good in Oz, living in a palace in the Emerald City and enjoying the perks of fame and popularity. As Madame Morrible instructs, Glinda serves Oz, assuring its inhabitants that all is well under the Wizard's rule. With her fame growing, Glinda prepares for her wedding to Prince Fiyero. However, her separation from Elphaba torments her. She attempts to reconcile Elphaba and the Wizard, but her efforts fail, deepening the rift between the friends. Glinda and Elphaba will be forced to unite one last time. Their extraordinary friendship will become the axis upon which their future depends. To change themselves and all of Oz for good, they will need to cultivate mutual trust and empathy.
