The film is set shortly before the 1973 coup d'état in Chile. Two long-serving CIA agents, Chris and Lee, are sent by their superior, MJ, from Santiago to Easter Island. In the shadow of the famous stone statues, the agents must confront their own dark pasts and a web of deepening conspiracies. The situation is further complicated by Chris’s involvement with two rebellious students, causing the entire mission to spiral out of control.
