"Warrior Queen" is a story about Africa and one of the most important countries on this continent in the 18th and 19th centuries - the Kingdom of Dahomey. In the production we will see an extraordinary fighter, Academy Award winner Viola Davis ("Plots", "The Help", "How to Get Away with Murder"). We will see the story of the queen's fight for her own people and its most important values. The film is directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood from a story by Maria Bello and Dana Stevens.
