August in Polish cinemas
In the second half of the holidays, Polish cinemas hosted 2.6 million viewers. In the August top 10 films, animation reigned supreme again – this time the Minions were the animals from the "DC Super-Pets League", and in third place was "Bullet Train", a crazy action comedy with Brad Pitt in the lead role.
The August list of the most watched films is a mix of premieres and productions that have ruled the big screen for some time, such as the above-mentioned "Minions: Gru Entrance", "Top Gun: Maverick" or "Thor: Love and Thunder". Just behind the podium was the hit premiere from May, i.e. "Top Gun: Maverick" – Tom Cruise is still in great shape. This film in the American ranking became the fifth film of all time (!), even beating the Marvel giant – "Black Panther". A very good result was also achieved by the fourth part of the love saga – "After 4. We will not survive without each other", to which special screenings certainly contributed – marathons of all parts, thanks to which fans of the series could recall the previous adventures of the heroes, before they learned their further fate.
