April showed that audiences are still keen to return to cinemas for major premieres and blockbuster films. The biggest event of the month was the premiere of *The Super Mario Galaxy Movie*. The film drew families, younger audiences and fans of the iconic Nintendo series to the cinemas... and quickly became a hit at the Polish box office, thus confirming the huge popularity of family cinema in Poland.

Another title with strong attendance was the film “Drama”, starring Zendaya and Robert Pattinson. The production generated considerable interest, particularly among younger audiences and fans of the two actors. The March release of Project Hail Mary ranked high on the list of the most-watched films. “Michael”, a film inspired by the story of Michael Jackson, was also very well received. The film was one of the most talked-about releases at the end of the month.

May is the month of comebacks

The most talked-about releases in May will undoubtedly be the sequels to well-known stories. We’ve kicked things off with the big-budget production *The Devil Wears Prada 2*. The film has enjoyed a very strong opening and is set to be one of those productions that will remain in cinemas for a long time. The familiar characters from the Mortal Kombat game are returning to the big screen, as are Tom and Jerry, and a real treat for fans of the Star Wars saga: The Mandalorian & Grogu.
