Nine million tickets sold after two months of 2026 is a stable and positive result. Behind us are the high-profile February premieres, which shook up the list of the best films of the year. February's result is over 4 million tickets sold, which is nearly a 6% increase compared to attendance figures for the same period last year.

Last year's premieres, Avatar: Fire and Ash and Zootopia 2, remain unchanged in first and second place on the podium. In third place is the third instalment of the adventures of Poland's most famous high school in ‘Piep*zyć Mickiewicza 3’, which had its best opening in February – nearly 300,000 viewers saw the film on its opening weekend. This shows that when new adventures of well-known characters appear on the big screen, they must be seen on the opening weekend.

The February premiere calendar also saw the foreign production Wuthering Heights, the second part of the series Dalej Jazda 2, beloved by viewers, and the alternative to the Valentine's Day atmosphere animation Wielka Mała Koza make it to the TOP 10 list. It is also worth noting that the Oscar season is in full swing, and we can see the works of this year's nominees on cinema screens, such as ‘The Great Marthy’ and ‘I'd Kick You If I Could’.
